CRA allows 500 MB total for most programs and 1 GB total for Compliance and Audit programs.
How we handle it: This preset targets the stricter 500 MB total accepted by most programs. Compliance and Audit submissions may use the additional headroom directly in the CRA service.
supported format subset
CRA accepts additional Office, text, TIFF and XPS formats, plus more formats for Compliance requests. UploadPrep currently prepares PDF and JPEG.
How we handle it: Convert other accepted documents to PDF or JPEG before using UploadPrep, or upload them directly to CRA.
