UploadPrep reduces exposure by processing files locally and checking measurable requirements. It does not replace an official application notice, security software or your own review before submission.

Your selected files are processed in your browser and are not uploaded to UploadPrep. Learn exactly what that covers in the privacy statement.

What UploadPrep checks

Depending on the workflow, UploadPrep can measure and revalidate properties such as file format, byte size, pixel dimensions, aspect ratio, page count and output readability. Requirements are tied to a named source and verification date, and recorded source conflicts are shown instead of silently guessed.

What UploadPrep cannot guarantee

  • Acceptance by a government authority, school, employer or other portal.
  • Your eligibility, identity, application accuracy or legal compliance.
  • Rules that require human judgment, such as likeness, pose, attire or signature style.
  • That a portal has not changed its requirements since the displayed verification date.
  • That your device, browser extensions, cloud-synced downloads or local network are secure.

Use the app safely

  1. Use a current browser on a trusted, private device.
  2. Check the named source and verification date shown for your workflow.
  3. Compare the result with the live portal or current official notification.
  4. Open the downloaded result and visually inspect every page before submission.
  5. Delete local downloads or previews when finished, especially on a shared device.
  6. Do not use edits an authority prohibits, even if the resulting file passes technical checks.

Sensitive documents and support

Never email UploadPrep a passport, identity document, application file or unredacted screenshot. If something fails, report the application name, browser, error message and the requirement you expected. The support page prepares an email draft without automatically sending or storing it.

Independent service

UploadPrep is an independent preparation tool. It is not a government portal, does not submit applications, and is not an assurance of acceptance. Official instructions and the live submission portal always take priority.

Report a safety concern

Stop using an output if it looks wrong or exposes information you did not expect. Report the issue through Help and support without including the sensitive file itself.
