portal and alternate email limits
The standard PR Portal limit is 4 MB per file. The Federal EMPP guide separately allows an email route when the portal cannot be used, with PDF documents, JPEG photos, at least eight attachments and a 5 MB attachment limit.
How we handle it: This preset models the normal PR Portal route at 4 MB. Follow the guide’s naming, 400 DPI and attachment instructions only when IRCC directs or permits the alternate email route.

Trusted-partner referral and Durable Solution forms are conditional on the applicant’s protection evidence and referral route.
How we handle it: Use IMM 0194 as the controlling checklist and include every conditional form that applies.
