The missions state uploads must be JPG or PDF under 1 MB; the Niamey mission alone quotes a 140 × 170 pixel frame for the uploaded JPG.
How we handle it: This preset prepares a JPG at the quoted frame inside the official 1 MB ceiling; the shared image model cannot emit the accepted PDF alternative.
Biometric recapture
A photograph is also taken during the in-person biometric appointment, so the upload is used for the application record rather than the final booklet image.
How we handle it: Prepare the upload to spec; expect the capture at the appointment regardless.
