supporting-document format and ceiling
The portal accepts JPEG files up to 5 MB or PDF files up to 1 MB, but the current document model cannot assign a different ceiling to each accepted format.
How we handle it: UploadPrep outputs PDF only and enforces the official 1 MB PDF ceiling. Applicants who prefer the alternative JPEG route can upload it directly to the portal.
