Sources disagree on this

  • aspect-ratio ranges

    GATE accepts photo aspect ratios from 0.66 to 0.89 and signature aspect ratios from 2.75 to 3.75, while UploadPrep can currently enforce only one ratio per output.

    How we handle it: The photo uses the separately published 3.5 × 4.5 cm passport ratio. The signature uses the midpoint ratio 3.25. Both outputs remain inside the official accepted ranges.

    GATE also requires a photo ID and may require category, disability, dyslexia or scribe documents, but its public requirements page does not publish file-size ceilings for them.

    How we handle it: This preset prepares only the photograph and signature, whose complete upload constraints are officially published. Follow GOAPS for the remaining documents.
