    The guidelines give two routes — camera capture resized to 20–100 KB, and scanning saved below 80 KB.

    How we handle it: This preset enforces the 20 KB-to-under-80 KB overlap, which passes under either route.

  • Retouching prohibition

    Digital enhancement, alterations or retouching of the photograph are explicitly not permitted.

    How we handle it: UploadPrep resizes and compresses without altering facial features; heavy edits stay the applicant’s responsibility.
