Applicability to Indian nationals
Indian-national candidates do not upload photographs or signatures during JEE Advanced registration — their images carry over automatically from the JEE Main database.
How we handle it: These preparation slots apply to foreign-national and OCI/PIO applicants, who must upload their own images and certificates.
Certificate byte range
The brochure’s upload specifications quote a 50–300 KB window for certificate PDFs and narrow windows for the images (photo 4–100 KB, signature 1–30 KB), which secondary walkthroughs reproduce consistently.
How we handle it: This preset enforces those published ceilings; the shared document model cannot enforce the 50 KB floor, so it is surfaced as guidance instead.
