PM&DC’s FAQ confirms JPG/PNG/PDF uploads and tells applicants never to exceed the size limit without printing the number; walkthroughs disagree between photographs under 5 MB and all scans under 2 MB.
How we handle it: This preset enforces the stricter under-2 MB reading, which passes under either.
Photograph dimensions
Neither the council nor consistent secondary sources publish pixel or physical dimensions — only “white background, clear face”.
