    The Portal baseline is a 10 MB attachment limit, but since 2022 each local planning authority may set its own limit up to 30 MB, and several older council checklists still cite 5 MB per file with a 25 MB combined cap.

    How we handle it: Prepare every attachment at or under 10 MB; check the destination council's validation checklist before submitting larger files.
